, this is my first try of pony sculpture and it'spretty difficult, because the type of clay I use always breaks and cracks during the drying, so I have to add polyester putty to repair or add new parts which is hard to sand
What kind of materials are You using? Do You have few advices for a noob like me? XD
It sounds like you are using an air dry clay. The only tip I can offer is to keep the clay as wet as possible when sculpting with it. This should stop it cracking.
The Luna figure is almost finished now, I am making few fillies to make a diorama based on " Children of the night" ( [link] )
