New lighting set up does not lend itself to decent photos, belgh.
Anywho, updates:
Reworked the face significantly; opened the mouth, remoulded the eyes and added the ears. The horn is done but I'm keeping it seperate until I figure out the mane.
Added the tail. Again, the photo doesnt show it off very well.
Leg armour has been started and the final thing will look something akiin to the front left hoof. Everything looks really bulky at the moment but when I get her body armour and wings on its shouldn't look too out of scale.
Finally, the head. I tried sculpting the helmet with the whole 'mane through crest' thing and to be honest it looked daft so that was scraped . I think I will sculpt her without a helmet. It will allow me to have some fun with a nice dramatic billowing mane.
Give her a Tiara. That would make her more royal as she is anyway. ^_^ The armour looks great. But i don't think you made them without any groudwork. Or can you really do that without any sketches? The design reminds me on Lineage. I yust don't know why, it's just poped out of my mind.
I hardly ever sketch out someting i'm going to sculpt. I can picture it in my head really well but when I try and draw it it looks rubbish.
As for the armour I took cues from the normal crystal empire armour and itterated upon it. Adding extra plates and details will hopefully make it look more befitting royalty.

Armour with some jewellery and enrichments look always royal. Do you give her a cape like Trixie has?
