OC sculpt challenge by frozenpyro71 OC sculpt challenge by frozenpyro71
The final result of a quick OC creation challenge with a few folks on skype. Sculpted and painted in 2 days, two very frantic days!

So far un-named OC adventurer (totally didn't add the saddle bags to avoid coming up with a cutiemark [applejack pokerface])

The way I imagined her was backed up in a dead end of some cave or lost tomb, staring up at some gribbly monster.

Yer, It might be a little rough around the edges and the painjob is less than stella but I quite like her :)

I like this, but... How would it use she use that knife? I'd recorded calling her Explora.

Fantastic! The survival accessories in their glorious detail are incredibly appealing. =)

Nice work, especially with the expression! And an adventurer character is a good idea!
Is that an imperial guard grenade-launcher bag on her shoulder?

Yes it is...also Space Marine pouches and a Catachan command sabre. Yep, lot of 40k bits, just the right size for this sculpt.

its so good i wish i was that good at sculpting :D but i think she would have looked more scared if she was looking up at the monster :D

Kinda agree with you there, the eyes could have been tilted up more

Love the details. And if you were going for "scared to death", you certainly captured the moment. :)

But here's the real question: Does she fit on a D20 grid for roleplaying purposes?

XD yes, she'd totally fit in a D&D campaign. Maybe even Malifaux.

Ahh, but the REAL queston is how big is the D20 grid?..

She's about 60mm from front to back hoof and about 45mm tall to the top of the horn.

She maybe "rough around the edges," but I really like how it came out. I think you captured the feel you were going for spot on. She's cute.

And it's a hell of a lot better than I could do in 2 months, much less 2 days. ;)
