First experience using Super Sculpy.
Its a world apart from my usual milliput and will take some getting used to but I really like it.

pic1) armature
pic 2) bulking out with tin foil
pic 3) 1st layer of sculpy
pic 4) second layer of sculpy
Pic 5 after a ton of sanding and smoothing.

I think i might turn this experiment into a Roseluck piece. Roseluck needs some more love :P

Edit: here is the finished project after a load more sanding, sculpting and painting. [link]

You sanded it after you baked it right? I've never messed with Super Sculpey, just the normal stuff. Great work!

Yes. I'm new to the material and find it hade to get a smooth finish before baking. I'm stil used to Milliput and a couple of grades of sandpaper gets a nice smooth finish.

It's always all about the Sculpey family. I feel so alone over here in the Fimo family. :(

Roseluck does need more love. She's simply adorable. :iconroseluckplz:

She looks great so far, especially for your first time using Super Sculpey. I can't wait to see how she turns out. :)

This stuff need to get used to, but it's possibilities are very high - my three last pieces (one still not posted) are made mostly of it.

But it's extremely fragile btw. Not without minuses...

Good job! Just the eyes and the muzzle look a tiny bit strange, but you surely rock with this new material!

The eyes look strange because they are just recesses art the moment. I'm going to sculpt some proper eyes in the next step. The muzzle does need a bit of shaping, especially around the sides
